Attendance

St. Vrain Valley Schools recognizes the importance of being present every day. Student attendance – more than a test score or any other data point – is one of the most accurate indicators of whether a student will graduate and find success after high school. Students who have regular attendance in kindergarten and first grade are far more likely to be at or above grade-level in third grade and in later grades, score much higher in essential math and reading assessments. It is critical for students to attend school daily in order to acquire the knowledge, skills and confidence needed to be college and career ready.

If your child will be absent from school, please contact the school office at 303-652-2828 to excuse your child.
