Hello everyone, I am new to Niwot Elementary this year. I'm 37, born and raised in the Chicago suburbs to a psychologist mom and engineer dad, and have been a school psychologist since 2011. I spent the last 10 years in the Seattle area serving K-12 in three schools (elementary, middle, and high schools), primarily in self-contained classrooms supporting kids with significant social, emotional, and behavioral needs. While that work was a labor of love, after my dad passed away in 2022, it was time to make arrangements to move my family closer together. I'm currently living in Gunbarrel, where my brother recently had a baby, and I'm working to move my Mom out here in the not-too-distant future as well.
