My name is Christina Burton, and I am a kindergarten teacher at Niwot Elementary. This is my sixth year at NES, and my 14th year of teaching in the primary grades. Prior to coming to Niwot, I taught kindergarten nearby at Eagle Crest, 2nd grade in Westminster, Montessori preschool in Breckenridge, and worked as a literacy interventionist with grades K-2 in Denver. Teaching literacy is my passion and I love helping little learners develop both their social emotional and academic skills as they begin their K-12 education! Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family and dog, skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking, reading, and seeing live music :)
