Bio

I have worked in the special education field for 25 years, and have been teaching for 22. Prior to St. Vrain, I worked at a residential facility for children as a para and then as a teacher. My first job in St. Vrain was at Mountain View Elementary, and I taught there for 12 years. This is my 9th year at Niwot Elementary. I have a BS degree in Psychology with a minor in Education from Regis University. I went on to obtain my Master’s in Special Education and am highly qualified in Elementary Education. I live in Longmont with my husband (who is also a teacher!), my twin 21-year old daughters, and 17-year old son. We are very active in the sports world and can often be found at the ballfield. Niwot is such a great place to work, and I am lucky to be part of such a great community.
