I love living and working in Niwot! I grew up in the Chicago area and moved to Fort Collins after college to teach 6th-9th-grade English. My husband and I then lived in Wales for five years before returning to Colorado, and we’ve been here ever since. I started subbing at NES when our boys attended, and I’ve been the Gifted/Talented teacher since 2020. I enjoy the variety and challenge of the role, the close collaboration with so many amazing colleagues, and the opportunity to watch students grow over multiple grade levels. This year I will also be the English Language Development teacher. I’m not very good at relaxing–unless I have a book in my hands! I also like to garden, knit/crochet, ski, and generally enjoy the outdoors.
