I attended the University of Northern Colorado where I earned my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with an endorsement in Teaching English as a Second Language. I also have my masters in Teaching Middle Grades Mathematics from Western Governors University.

Bio

I was born in Longmont, Colorado. I attended Northridge Elementary and Lyons Middle/Senior High. I grew up in St. Vrain schools and support the goals of educating the future generations. After high school, I moved to Greeley and lived there for six years.. I began my career at Bella Romero Academy teaching 7th grade math and science for two years. I have a passion for math and for allowing each student to believe they are a mathematician.
Outside of the classroom, I most enjoy being a mom and spending time with my son Luigi. I also enjoy exercising, playing volleyball, spending time with my husband and my family, watching sports, and enjoying the outdoors in our beautiful state. My husband and I enjoy competition. We play in volleyball tournaments together. We play a variety of card games and any board game ever made. We also enjoy traveling. Some of my other favorites include Chai tea, chips and salsa, and my puppies, Kona and Murray.
