I earned my Bachelor of Science in Health and Exercise Science from Colorado State University and my Master of Arts in K–12 Special Education from the University of Northern Colorado. I also completed my K-12 Principal Licensure through Colorado State University and am currently pursuing my Doctorate in Educational Leadership at Colorado State University.

I am honored to serve as the Dean of Students at Niwot Elementary. This is my fifth year serving in St. Vrain Valley Schools, and I am grateful for the opportunity to continue supporting students, staff, and families as part of this incredible community.

As Dean of Students, I am committed to building a positive, inclusive school culture where every student feels a sense of belonging and has the support they need to thrive. I believe strong relationships are at the heart of successful schools, and I work to partner with students, teachers, and families to support student growth, social-emotional development, and a safe and welcoming learning environment. My goal is to help students develop the skills, confidence, and responsibility they need to be successful both in school and beyond.

Throughout my career in education, I have seen the impact that collaboration, consistency, and a shared commitment to students can have on a school community. I value working alongside educators and families to problem-solve, celebrate student successes, and create systems that help all learners reach their potential.

Outside of school, my family and I enjoy spending time together, staying active and exploring new adventures. Whether we are traveling, camping, working around the house, or caring for our horses, chickens, and dogs, we are always learning and growing together. I also enjoy gardening and connecting with our local community, which continues to strengthen my belief in the importance of strong partnerships between schools, families, and communities.

I look forward to continuing to build relationships and contribute to the Niwot Elementary community by supporting students, empowering staff, and helping create a school environment where every learner feels valued and capable of success.
