Hello! I am Gracie Winka. I am the Discovery Lab teacher and a Robotics coach here at Niwot. I am currently in my fourth year of college, where I attend Grand Canyon University to obtain my Bachelors degree. In the Discovery Lab, we are learning about safe and appropriate ways to utilize different forms of technology. The Design Thinking Process is also a heavy focus in our classroom. My goal is to create a love for innovation, creation, and exploration through technology for each student. Technology and innovation are a large part of our future, just like our students.

Outside of the classroom, I am very passionate about design and animals. I am a lover of animals and have many furbabies. I am also a mom to the sweetest, smartest boy. Being a mom has been my greatest adventure yet! I am looking forward to watching him grow and explore alongside my students. I cannot wait to see what the future holds for me here at Niwot Elementary!
